Madden NFL 25 is a game in the Madden NFL video game series. Former Detroit Lions running back Barry Sanders Is the cover player. Madden NFL 25 is named as such to celebrate the series' 25th title instead of Madden 14, which surprised some fans and critics. It is the first game to release on eighth generation home consoles, including the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 systems.

Controversy[]
- The game had many critics, when first announced, due to the title of the game being "Madden NFL 25" and not "Madden NFL '14" to continue the order, that games past have had (eg. Madden NFL '10, Madden NFL '11, Madden NFL '12) particularly begging the question "What will they do when the year is 2024, and the title won't match the upcoming year?" -Gameinformer Magazine.

- Player Mode- Play through 20 years as an NFL superstar, or Created Superstar
- Coach Mode- Play as an Active, Legendary or Created Coach, and play through 30 years.
- Owner Mode- Play as a Current, Legendary or Created Owner for 30 years, Relocate your team to any number of cities (Eg. Los Angeles, Toronto, Mexico City, London, Brooklyn etc.) change your teams name and logo to any one of the present designs. Build your own Stadium. Hire or Fire your coaching staff.
